Wellspring Counseling was founded in 2013 by Crystal Turman, LCSW, and has a mission to help people reach their mental health goals by discovering their brain’s full potential. Wellspring counselors use not only the latest and most advanced treatment modalities but tailor that treatment to the individual needs of each client.
As a veteran herself, Crystal, together with her team, seeks especially to serve veterans, first responders, and their families. It is her honor to continue to serve her country in this way.

CRYSTAL TURMAN, LCSW
Practice Owner
Crystal A. Turman holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Prior to entering the counseling field, Crystal served Active Duty in the United States Air Force and worked in the technical industry which gives her a unique blend of experience as a veteran as well as a military family member.
As a licensed provider, she is contracted with most insurance companies and employee assistance programs (EAPs), including Tricare. She is also a Medicare provider based on plan eligibility. Crystal offers telehealth counseling by utilizing HIPPA-compliant video counseling.
Crystal works with children, adults, couples and groups in the areas of depression, anger management, divorce, blended family and anxiety. As an Air Force Veteran, Crystal understands the needs of veterans and their families and offers specialized treatment options for various issues military families face. She believes facilitating the restoration of hurting people is a God-directed path for her life, saying, "Because God called me, I will be available to do His will with a hopeful heart."

TAMMY DUGAN
Practice and Billing Manager
Tammy Dugan has over twenty-seven years of Accounting and Bookkeeping experience in multiple industry environments and over seven years specifically in the medical office billing environment. She earned her Certified Professional Billing credentials through the AAPC in 2017 and an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Medical Records and Billing from Miller Motte Technical College in Wilmington, North Carolina, in 2012.
KENDALL GILLESPIE
Receptionist
Kendall is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida with plans to further her education and obtain her Ph.D. She is determined to use her education to help others overcome trauma and navigate through challenging situations. With a natural curiosity for learning, Kendall is enthusiastic and proactive in her approach to support mental health growth in others. Her positive attitude and dedication to making a positive impact make her a valuable asset to our team.
In her free time, she loves reading, travel, and spending time on the beach with her rescue dog named Moose.
ASHLEY WALTER
Neurofeedback Technician
Ashley is completing a Bachelor of Science in Genomics and Molecular Biology with a Minor in Psychology at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. Ashley has worked in several different laboratories with a specific research focus on brain plasticity and brain states for improving performance.
Ashley is a retired collegiate athlete who continues to work alongside several non-profit programs as an advocate for mental health. She continues her education in hopes of helping clients with generalized anxiety and stress disorders with the use of feedback therapy equipment.
In her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, surfing, and time at the beach with her two retrievers.
